This is to inform everyone that the Tripura Teachers' Eligibility Test (T-TET) 2024 will be administered by TRBT in two papers: Paper I is for those who want to teach classes I through V, and Paper II is for those who want to teach classes VI through VIII.

Age Limit : 

18 to 40 years as on 12.12.2024. Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST/PH and Government Servant provided that government employees belonging to SC/ST/PH category will not get relaxation over and above general relaxation of 5 years available to them.
Upper age limit is also relaxable for Ex-Serviceman (ESM) as per norms.

Tripura-TET 2024 Paper I (for Classes I-V):

• Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (or one year Diploma in Education up to academic session 2004-05) by whatever name known.
• According to the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations, 2002, a one-year Diploma in Education up until the academic session 2004-05 or a Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% of the possible points must be earned.
• A four-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B. El.Ed.) degree and at least 50% in Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) are required.

Tripura-TET Paper II (for Classes VI-VIII):

• Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (or one year Diploma in Education up to academic session 2004-05) by whatever name known.
• According to the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations, 2002, a one-year Diploma in Education up until the academic session 2004-05 or a Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% of the possible points must be earned.
• A four-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B. El.Ed.) degree and at least 50% in Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) are required.
