ICAR Recruitment 2024 : The Department of Agriculture and Farmer's Welfare, Govt. of Tripura, Agartala, is sponsoring the project "Land Resource Inventory of two districts of Tripura State at large scale for Agricultural Land Use Planning using geospatial techniques," which calls for the following "Field Assistant" to work with ICAR-NBSS & LUP, Regional Center, Kolkata.
Essential Qualification: 12th passed in Science
Desirable Qualification: Graduate in Agriculture with experience in field work.
Language: Knowledge of Bengali, Hindi and English (fluency in speaking and writing).
Emoluments: Rs. 18,000/- per month (consolidated)
Job Description:
a. Soil Survey, study of soil profiles and entry of soil morphological properties in soil profile sheet.
b.Collection of primary socio-economic data from farmers in districts.
Place of posting: Tripura
Place of working: Gomati and South Tripura district of Tripura.
Job duration: Initially for 6 months and it may be extended later depending on the requirement.
Position to be renewed every month based on performance.
